Autumn in New England when it rains and breaks down each year. But I would trade all my future Augusts for one October free and clear.

October is the best month. And here in pictures is my argument for why that is. Today, October 23, 2015, Bert and Ernie and I went on our morning dog walk. We were surrounded by this beauty. Well, actually, Bert and Ernie can't see in color; so they probably missed most of it. Ahh, that is probably why they were so perplexed and impatient when I kept stopping to take pictures. But I hope you enjoy the beauty of October in New England.
